Støren Kulturhus in Midtre Gauldal municipality has been one of Lily’s customers since 2020. Several venues in the municipality are connected to Lily’s system, including a cinema and a cultural centre. Every week, two fully automated emails are sent out to the municipality’s public through Lily, one targeting the cinema and one targeting cultural events. They also send out automatic reminders before and after performances. The best thing of all is that these emails generate 55% of the marketing consents Støren uses for its marketing.
Before, all information was sent manually – every time. The problem with that, says Knut Inge, is that communication stops being a priority. He only has a set number of working hours at the cultural centre each week, and he has many important tasks to get done in that time. When he had to choose between guiding the audience into the performance hall and sending out a newsletter – welcoming the audience was always a priority.
As Knut Inge puts it: “The newsletter was so time-consuming that I stopped doing it. Now everything happens by itself.” With Lily, Knut Inge can automate all communication with his customers.
Most importantly, all the clicks and ticket purchases that Støren Kulturhus receives thanks to the automated communication are ticket sales that wouldn’t otherwise have been made.
